SALTY SHAGGIES /IRISH BREAD/

SO here there are the salty shaggies that are a perfect match for movies, party or just for a lazy Sunday breakfast with the loved one. I promise they are very easy to make and they taste like heaven. BTW one of my flatmates tried them and he said they taste like some sort of Irish bread his mum used to make as a kid... So maybe it is an international recipe of a kind. If the make sth similar in your country please let me know!!!!
INGREDIENTS:
400g white cheese/ yellow cheese/ cheddar
3 tablespoons yogurt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
250g butter
3 eggs
flour- as much as it takes
seasonal spice mix
PREPARATION:
So here it goes... First you mix the eggs and the melted butter. Then in a separate plate you mix the yogurt and the baking soda and leave it for a while. Then you add the grated cheese to the eggs & butter. Then you add the yogurt & baking soda mixture and you stir that really well. Then you start adding flour. You continue adding flour and stirring until you get a mixture that looks like the mixture for a cake, not dough like but slightly more creamy. Then you put some baking paper in a tray and with the help of a spoon you start making shaggy balls of the mixture and putting them in them in the tray. Once you fill the tray you spice with the seasonal mix and you throw them in the pre-heated oven on 200C for 15minutes, or until they get slightly golden. And that is all. Then you serve them hot with a soup or any other meal!

Always yours,
