THE Italian passion in the kitchen is never ending in our humble home. So there it is Bulgarian improvisation of pizza a.k.a. empty the fridge type of cooking and see what happens. This evening we prepared everything from the dough to the slicing of the topping.
INGREDIENTS:for the dough:
1 1/2 cup of self-rising flour
3 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
for the topping:
1 tomato
5 tablespoons tomato sauce
50g flat sausage
50g salami
100g mozzarella
100g Bulgarian white cow cheese
100g cheddar
100g emental
PREPARATION:
First you mix the ingredients for the flower in a bowl. Then you roll out the dough, preferably in a circle, but we did it in a rectangle sort of shape. You put some baking paper in the tray, then you put the rolled out dough on top. You put the flat sausage, the cheddar, the mozzarella, the yellow cheese, the salami, the tomato, the tomato sauce. You can add some seasonal spices, or basil, depends on your mood. Then you preheat the over on 200C fan. You cook the pizza for around 30min. Then you take it out you put the cheddar on top and return the tray back into the oven for 10min. Then you take out the pizza and you are done!
I can't wait to go end eat my slice now, so I'll have to leave you!
